Anne is my pregnancy, childbirth, labor, and mom guru. She’s awesome and is the best, most wonderful and kind doula!
As a first time mom, I didn't know what to expect going into labor. Anne was an amazing source of support leading up to and during labor. Anne was a fantastic doula. She made a great team with my husband. With the both of them there I think I was better able to stay calm and focused. She was the rock in the birthing team. I highly recommend to her to anyone, especially VBAC women. The first week home I think I texted her multiple times a day and she was also quick with a response and always very useful advice. Anne was like a fairy godmother...I would not have gotten through the first 10 weeks after the birth of my daughter without her. If you are considering a doula, especially for a VBAC, you must talk to Anne! Anne is like calm waters in a storm. Anne was there for the hardest day in my life, giving birth to my stillborn son...then the most amazing day in my life, giving birth to my son...a year and a half later. In both cases, she set the tone with her calm presence and lent me her strong, supportive energy when I needed it. She is a gift, and I am grateful. |
